Actors who can bring emotional truth to complex, grounded characters. Performers comfortable exploring vulnerability, tension, and the quiet moments between words. This story lives in subtle expressions, lived‑in realism, and the weight of choices that linger long after they’re made. We welcome performers with strong instincts, a sense of presence, and the ability to carry supernatural tension without relying on special effects. Authenticity, nuance, and emotional depth are at the heart of every role in The Black Phoenix.

Jesus Lupo

A gentle, soulful presence whose life and death echo through the story. His spirit remains tied to the unresolved wounds of Blackridge and the people he loved.

Marlon Hicks

A friend from Mutt’s past whose death left a lasting emotional mark. His presence lingers as both memory and warning, shaping the stakes of the story.

Trevor Bruce

A young man whose disappearance signaled the beginning of a dark chapter in Blackridge’s history. His story threads into the supernatural pressure rising beneath the city.

Kyle Mundy

A vulnerable youth caught in circumstances beyond his control. His presence deepens the emotional and supernatural tension surrounding the breach.

Mutt Davidson

Owner of The Black Phoenix and the story’s central perspective. A wizard–werepanther hybrid carrying the weight of past choices and the responsibility of protecting a city under pressure. Grounded, guarded, and emotionally complex.

Ed

An ancient earth spirit who appears as an oversized gray tabby. Wise, blunt, and unbothered by human drama. Serves as Mutt’s advisor, conscience, and occasional comic relief.

Diane Davidson

A witch with deep roots in the supernatural community. Protective, perceptive, and unafraid to confront the darker truths of magic and family legacy.

Phillip Nelson (Panty Man)

A ghost bound to the world he damaged in life. Once a respected lawyer hiding a fractured inner world, his spirit now wanders Blackridge seeking release, redemption, or reckoning. His presence drives much of the supernatural unrest.

A streetwise young man whose fate ties directly into the story’s central mystery and the emotional weight carried by the living and the lost.

The Lost Boys

Pinky

Co‑manager of The Black Phoenix and a werewolf with deep ties to the supernatural community. Loyal, grounded, bouncer-type, and essential to the club’s stability.

Ivan

A vampire pathologist with a strange sense of humor and a long history in Atlanta’s hidden supernatural world. Eccentric, sharp, and unexpectedly helpful.

Uncle Dickey

A powerful vampire clan leader whose presence adds tension and danger to the supernatural landscape of Blackridge. Charismatic, unsettling, and influential.
